Activities that celebrate different cultures, abilities and backgrounds help students understand and accept one another. Group work and nice teamwork can build strong friendships and trust. When everyone is given a chance to speak and share their opinions freely, students may feel that they belong because they have voice. This creates a happy and welcoming environment for all.

By treating students with kindness, love, respect and accepting differences of other cultures and abilities, and giving everyone a voice to speak up, schools can build a safe and welcoming place for all.
